Coca Cola have come up trumps again! What better way to boost sales than to collaborate with the fashion powerhouses.
Coca-Cola has been collaborating with designers since 2003 to create special edition bottles including Matthew Williamson, Gianfranco Ferre, Marni and Roberto Cavalli, some of which can be seen below.
Last year saw Coca Cola team up with Chanel’s chief designer Karl Lagerfeld and following the success of the campaign, Lagerfeld is BACK!
Lagerfeld has designed a second collection of special edition Coca-Cola bottles, and the trio of 2011 hauteness definitely tops last year’s. The bottle comes in three designs, one more badass than the next and all with a splash of hot pink. Lagerfeld famously credited losing 90 pounds in 2001 to Diet Coke (and steamed vegetables) and is thought to have his own Diet Coke butler!!
The collaboration of two iconic brands can only mean one thing: WORLD DOMINATION! Lagerfeld and Chanel are renowned for their class and style while Coca Cola’s distribution channels have led the brand to the four corners of the earth and beyond. To ask Lagerfeld to design the special edition bottles was a smart move on Coca Cola’s behalf as it allows the Coca Cola brand credibility in the world of fashion, creating the must have product of the summer 2011.
