Ab. & Fitch CEO Hates Fat People

An article has recently been released that discusses the CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch stating he hates fat people.  THE CEO! PR nightmare? I think so.

The CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch states that the brand is meant to be geared toward the “cooler and popular people” meaning the slim people.  His reasoning is that fat people are not cool people and that they don’t deserve to wear his brand.  Abercrombie & Fitch does not carry a size larger than a Large, while their competitors (H&M and American Eagle) carry sizes XL and XXL.

Why is this a nightmare? Well, as a CEO you are voice of the ENITE COMPANY.  It is the CEO’s responsibility to portray the company in a positive light and keep personal judgments quiet.  This CEO did not do that all.  Instead, he alienated customers and let his own personal belief become the beliefs of every…
