If you’re in the business of mass communication, you should know to by now to avoid the derogatory stuff. Unfortunately, someone at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution didn’t get that memo.
Twitter gives users a voice, and a lot of them take advantage of this in the worst way by posting racist, sexist and downright inappropriate stuff. We would expect more from a newspaper…you’d think.
AJC followed up quickly by erasing the tweet and posting an apology.
But how much did this apology matter? According to Black Entertainment Television, not much.
