“Growth Hacking” seems to be a trendy term these days, surrounded by hype, but often misunderstood. Most people will associate the term to viral marketing, frequently linked to social media, however social media marketing is only one (small) part of the puzzle.
First, let’s break down the term:
“Growth” – that’s pretty self-explanatory. This part of the term signifies the growth in metrics that is hoped to be achieved.
“Hacker” – signifies programmer (sometimes illegal) but mostly someone who thinks outside the box, disregards the rules, and discovers new ways to solve problems. The main attributes required are being analytical and creative.
